jstaddeo@gmail.comJason completed his Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology (minor Gerontology) at Lakehead University and went on to complete his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2005 at McMaster University. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists, having completed both the Orthopaedic Division AIM Program and McMaster University's OMPT-RS Masters stream.
He is certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation acupuncture and received his Certificate in Chronic Pain Management from the University of Alberta. Since then, he completed his Doctorate of Health Sciences (Magna Cum Laude) through the University of St. Augustine, with an interest in virtual healthcare services and concussion management.
He is currently pursuing his Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist Certification with the University of Pittsburgh. Clinically, he practices in Northwestern Ontario as lead for an interdisciplinary clinical team, and primarily provides concussion and vestibular care to all ages.
Academically, he teaches as an Assistant Professor with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University since 2011 in undergraduate medical education and interdisciplinary health care. His area of research and interest is related to neck pain classification systems and concussion management.
Jason loves the outdoors and enjoying what Thunder Bay has to naturally offer with his wife and children. He has been an avid Crossfit/Strongfit athlete, and now enjoys powerlifting, golf, cycling and hiking in his spare time, and enjoys a healthy approach to health care and rehabilitation, which he brings to his patients' experience.
